In Spring 2026, I spearheaded the Claude 3-0 campaign in order to more cohesively celebrate Claude on what would ultimately be his final birthday. I worked to coin the campaign name and dial in creative in order to facilitate a multi-department collaboration at the Academy.
Working closely with the Creative Director and marketing team, we developed a jam-packed campaign plan including a new giveaway and programming for guests every single day during Claude’s birthday month, a series of special events, and mascot appearances.
I oversaw design development and production of all campaign and giveaway designs with the in-house Creative Studio team, including assets for the Golden State Valkyries game, digital advertising at the Bay Bridge and BART stations, and the production of a brand-new book The Curious Color of Claude.
I facilitated numerous collaborations, including screenprinting with Haight Street Art Center, a special limited-edition beer with Oakland brewery, the development of a large Claude sculpture with local artist Nigel Sussman and a birthday artwork series with California College of the Arts students. The latter collaboration would ultimately produce artwork that served as marketing assets, gift shop designs, and a special swamp-side mini-exhibition, the production of which I completely oversaw.
